The DL Micro Valve
The DL Micro Valve is specifically designed for dispensing micro volumes of material in precise, repeatable patterns. The brushless motor precisely controls the rotation of the auger, with a programmable encoder that provides more than 57,000 counts per 360 degree revolution.

The auger and cartridge liner are constructed of carbide because it is almost frictionless when running carbide on carbide. Plus, cleaning and maintenance costs are minimal, reducing downtime and overhead costs.

The cartridge, the auger, and the needle are the only wetted parts that require cleaning and can be easily extracted with the syringe and feed tube as one piece. The pieces can then be stored overnight depending on the properties of the material being dispensed.

The cartridge is available in three styles; Fixed/Floating DL Z-Cartridge for footed needles; Fixed Luer Z-Cartridge for Luer-Lok® style needles; and our DL Fixed/Floating Z-Cartridge for our encapsulation style needles.

DL HY-FLO Valve
The DL Technology HY-FLO™ dispensing valve is for high volume applications in electronics assembly, medical device and industrial assembly markets. The HY-FLO™ valve provides precise material control and repeatability by maintaining consistent temperature. An embedded thermocouple offers closed-loop control, compensating for temperature changes in the environment that may lead to process variations.

The HY-FLO™ valve features an advanced plastic that prevents heat migration to the gantry and the motor. The valve uses 24V, 40W Kapton heater and a copper cartridge for maximum heat conduction. The valve operates in a temperature range ambient to 100°C.

The auger configuration is designed to support the flow rate, which can be as high as 250mg/second. The HY-FLO™ valve is also available without the heater element for high volume applications that do not require temperature control.

Micro Dispensing Enhancement Kit
The DL Technology Micro Dispensing Enhancement Kit enables quick and efficient repair or upgrade of existing valves. This operator-friendly kit offers a simple solution to worn or outmoded dispensing valves without the hassle of off-site repairs or the expense of entire valve replacement. It is available in one convenient unit, which includes the DL Pump Body, DL Pump Mount, DL Cartridge, and assorted DL needles.

The DL Pump Body easily integrates with the motor portion of existing units, including DC brush, stepper, or servo motor types. The easy-release DL Pump Mount features a push button that quickly releases the entire pump assembly from the bracket, minimizing maintenance and changeover time.

The cartridge, auger, and needle are the only wetted parts and can be cleaned in minutes. The assembly is easily extracted with the syringe and feed tube as one piece for cleaning or storage.
