The resulting smoother internal profile enhances material flow and consistency. The chamfered needle tip is finely ground in a conical direction to allow for better material release.

Non-footed needles are used mostly for conductive epoxies, but also for SMD epoxy, solder paste, and other materials. They work well with pumps that incorporate a touch probe to measure Z height and are available in 13 to 32 gauges in .25 (6.35mm) and .35 (8.89mm) lengths.

The DL Technology EZ-FLO™ custom encapsulation and underfill dispensing needles are designed for precise, repeatable application of encapsulation and underfill material. Each needle is machined from solid stainless steel as opposed to rolled tubing. The resulting smooth internal profile enhances material flow and consistency. The chamfered needle tip is finely ground in a conical direction to allow for better material release. Underfill needles feature a "relieved" tip that allows the needle to be adjacent to the chip for a better wicking action. Easy Release needles for encapsulation and underfill are available in 18 to 31 gauges in .25 (6.35mm) and .35 (8.89mm) lengths.

Precision machined from a single piece of stainless steel, EZ-FLO™ internal profile and surface greatly enhance material flow and performance. EZ-FLO™ needles handle all materials – surface mount epoxy, solder paste, solder mask, and conductive epoxy.

The DL Technology Easy Release Luer-Lok® dispense needles accommodate surface mount epoxy, solder paste, solder mask, conductive epoxy and a variety of other materials. The chamfered needle tips are finely ground in a conical direction to allow for better material release. Stainless steel and plastic Luer-Lok® Easy Release needles are available in 11 to 32 gauges in .12 (3.05mm), .15 (3.81mm), .18 (4.57mm), .25 (6.35mm), and .5 (12.7mm) lengths. We also accommodate custom length requests.

DL Technology will custom-design needles to meet the strictest demands of any application, such as multi-ported, angular configurations, special lengths, and special pattern tips. The chamfered needle tip is finely ground in a conical direction to allow for better material release. Easy Release needles are available in 11 to 31 gauges in 2, 3, and 4 needles configurations.
